Men in Ilford can get a potentially life-saving prostate cancer screening test this weekend.
The testing event, hosted by Ilford Wanderers Rugby Football Club, marks National Prostate Cancer Screening Day on March 21.
It's organised by Prostate Cancer Research, in collaboration with The Graham Fulford Charitable Trust.
Local men aged 40 and and over are urged to book a slot between 10am and 2pm for a test, available at a subsidised rate.
The test requires a small blood sample, and can indicate potential issues.
Results will be delivered confidentially, along with advice on next steps, which may include a GP follow-up.
