Two men who died in a house fire in Walthamstow have been named for the first time.

The fire happened on April 21, 2024 at around 10.25pm at a home in Forest Road, E17.

Our sister site London Now reported that the two men who were found dead inside the house have now formally identified as 24-year-old Mohammed Djellal and 35-year-old Faouzi Bouchadoe.

Their families are being supported by specialist officers.

Fouad Boudra, 25, has been charged with their deaths.

A murder investigation was launched by detectives and on August 10 last year, the Crown Prosecution Service authorised murder charges against Fouad Boudra, 25 (24.03.01).

An international arrest warrant was issued by a judge on August 27 and a 25-year-old man was arrested in France on January 26 this year.

He was extradited to the UK yesterday (April 2).

Boudra, of no fixed address, is due to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court today (April 3).

He has been charged with two counts of murder, two counts of manslaughter, causing grievous bodily harm with intent to a third man and arson with intent to endanger life.
