KHA students support local families with Easter food boxes

The students from the Waltham Abbey school dedicated their efforts to packing boxes as part of the Food in School Holidays (FISH) programme, which ensures children in the area receive essential lunches during school breaks when free school meals are unavailable.

The initiative provides vital support to over 300 local students, helping prevent holiday hunger and offering nutritious food to those in need.

Each carefully packed box included not only lunch items but also a special Easter egg, generously donated by the wonderful members of the KHA community.

These chocolate treats added a joyful, festive touch to the parcels.

This hands-on volunteering experience highlighted the students' commitment to empathy, teamwork, and giving back, strengthening community ties and making a meaningful difference for families facing hardship.
