A search for suspects is underway after "shots were fired" at a home in Walthamstow.
Metropolitan Police officers were called to an address in Russel Road at 2.30am today (May 17) after gunshots were heard, as reported by our sister site London Now.
No injuries were reported.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
Detective inspector Richard Scott, of the Met’s specialist crime trident team, said: “We recognise the alarm this incident will cause for the local community, and our detectives are working at pace to identify the suspects responsible for this offence.
“Residents can expect to see a police presence in the area in the coming days, and we urge anyone with any concerns to come forward and speak to our officers.”
