A WOMAN woke to discover someone had broken into her Ongar home.
Police said the retired woman thought someone had put something through the letter box of her home in Green Walk at 4.15am this morning, and saw a “dark figure” walking off. When she went downstairs she found the front door had been forced open causing £500 damage.
Nothing appeared to have been stolen.
