A WOMAN was robbed of her motorbike after she arranged to meet a potential buyer.
Police said the 32-year-old woman met the man at Buckhurst Hill Station and took him back to Boleyn Court, in Epping New Road, Buckhurst Hill, to see the black £4,500 Yamaha R600 machine.
She was unable to start the bike and so the man got on, started the engine and then pushed the woman out of the way and rode off.
The woman, who suffered a grazed elbow in the incident, which happened at 11.30am on Friday, told police the man had said his name was “Terry” and he lived in Islington.
He was 6ft 2ins tall, in his late 20s, with an London accent, of mixed race, bald, and wearing a black leather jacket.
