ONGAR Rotary are holding a special celebratory week to encourage more members to experience their activities.
It will start on Saturday, April 18, with an open day in Budworth Hall, in High Street, Ongar.
During the week the public can also meet members of the Rotary Club at the Joseph King Trust Shop in Ongar High Street to discover more about ‘The World of Rotary’.
Club president, Alan Brindley said: “This is an opportunity to discover just what goes on in Ongar. Most of us are bored with the telly we want to get out there and spend our leisure-time with something stimulating and exciting.”
The Budworth Hall event runs from 10am to 3pm. Entry costs 50p for adults and is free for children.
