AN after school children’s club hopes take its place in history when it joins the attempt to host the world’s biggest simultaneous picnic.
Debden After School Club hopes to host the picnic, in Jessel Drive, Loughton, from 12.30pm on Monday, May 25.
The event is being held to mark National Family Week which seeks to emphasise the importance of the family in all its modern forms.
Participants should bring a picnic with two courses and a drink as well as their own rug or blanket.
