A 31-YEAR-OLD woman was indecently assaulted as she walked to a friend's home in Leytonstone The woman told police she was about to cross the footbridge in Norman Road at the Trinity Close side when she saw two men.

She started to turn back but the men ran at her. One held her while the second assaulted her.

Police are hunting two men described as white with dark complexions. The first was 30, 5ft 8ins tall, wearing a black leather bomber jacket, medium blue jeans and black leather shoes with a big gold buckle. The second was 25 and 6ft tall.

One man who shouted to the woman "get down" spoke with a foreign accent.

Operation Sapphire, the Met's unit which deals with sexual offences, is urging the public to come forward with information.
