VISITORS to Loughton Astronomical Society's next open evening from 7pm until 9pm on Sunday, February 22 may have the chance to view Saturn, if the skies are clear.
The event continues the winter programme of public open evenings at the observatory behind Loughton Hall, Rectory Lane.
The ringed planet Saturn is showing well and there will be an opportunity to view other astronomical sights through the 16ins and other telescopes if the sky is clear.
The society meets every Thursday at 8pm at the scout hut, Loughton Lane, Theydon Bois.
