A PUB owned by a territorial army soldier is holding a fund-raising event for Help for Heroes.

The Warrant Officer pub in Higham Hill Road, Walthamstow, is holding the event on Sunday, October 11, from 3pm.

There will be music, karaoke and games including a wheelbarrow race, a three legged obstacle course, darts and a cream cracker eating competition.

There will also be Help for Heroes items for sale, with all proceeds going to the Help for Heroes charity, which helps support soldiers and former soldiers.

There will also be a raffle to win tickets to see Tom Jones live in Wembley, the proceeds of which go to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
