RESIDENTS can help shape the the future of care at two events over the coming weeks.

The events – part of the National Big Care Debate – will offer people across Redbridge the chance to have their say on how care services should be run.

The two consultations for residents to debate the suggestions will take place at 7pm on October 13 at the Central Library in Ilford, and at 10am on November 4 at Sir James Hawkey Hall in Woodford Green.

All the feedback given by local residents will help prepare a specifically local response to the Government's plans for the future of care.

The consultation covers three areas; the vision for the future, how to deliver the vision, and funding options. For more information visit www.careandsupport.direct.gov.uk.
