SINGER, athlete, writer, actor and lawyer prolific American icon Paul Robeson was a forerunner of the civil rights movement, who rose from ‘white man‘s lackey‘ to become a belligerent, forceful spokesman for Black human rights.
Now aged 77, performer Joe Stead will pay homage to Robeson‘s contributions and achievements with a talk about his life and times at the Epicentre, Leytonston on Saturday, November 14.
This is a free event. The talk runs from 7.30pm-9.30pm and is followed with a buffet.
