A CHURCH is inviting the community to share its 110th birthday at a special service.
Forest Hall Church, in High Beech Road, Loughton, first opened its doors on Saturday, December 2, 1899 to a packed audience including the then head of the CID Sir Robert Anderson.
Although the original Norwegian building of the church has now been extensively renovated it still retains much of its original woodwork.
The church is now seeking anyone who has attended its various meetings over past years to attend the Thanksgiving service to share their memories with the congregation.
The service will take place on Wednesday, December 2, at 7.30pm.
