The Hackney Singers will present a traditional concert at St Peter de Beauvoir, de Beauviour Road, Hackney on Saturday, December 19, 7.30pm with a reportoire of old favourites including Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus, which the choir recently performed for the BBC (07930 940522, www.hackneysingers.org.uk).
Carols and bible readings will be followed by mince pies and a hot drinks at the Ray Lodge United Reformed Church, Ray Lodge Road, off Snakes Lane East, Woodford Green, on Sunday, December 20, 11am (raylodgeurc@hotmail.com).
And finally, the renowned Choirs of Chingford Parish Church will be in good voice on Wednesday, December 23, at Ss Peter & Paul’s Parish Church, The Green, Chingford on Wednesday, Decemember 23, 8pm. There will also be plenty of songs for the congregation to join in with.
