A 36-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court charged with causing the death of a cyclist.
Ali Altuntas, of Leadale Avenue, Chingford appeared at Wycombe Magistrates' Court yesterday in connection with the death of 47-year-old Jim Fleming.
Mr Fleming was hit by a car as he travelled to work along the A413 in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire on April 1.
Altuntas is charged with causing death by dangerous driving and perverting the course of public justice.
He did not enter a plea during yesterday's hearing.
He is next due to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on January 5.
