A LUTON man has been charged over the death of a young woman in a crash in Ongar.
Nicola Saxton, 19, of Bankside Close in South Woodham Ferrers, was killed when a lorry overturned onto her car on the A414 on Monday August 17 last year.
The 55-year-old, who has not yet been named by police, is accused of causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving and will appear before Harlow Magistrates Court on Wednesday March 10.
Ms Saxton, who was driving a Ford KA, was on her way to Chelmsford at the time of the collision.
She was cut free from her car and taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, but was pronounced dead a few hours later.
Ms Saxton was just about to start her third year of a law degree at the University of Hertfordshire at the time.
