A MAN has died after being stabbed at at Wood Street station in Walthamstow.
The victim, in his 60s, was discovered after falling down a flight of stairs near the entrance foyer just after midnight on Monday, September 6.
He had staggered to the stairs. It is not know where the stabbing took place.
Passers-by called emergency services and the victim later died in Whipps Cross University Hospital.
Wood Street station is closed and travellers are advised to use other routes. Call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 with information.
