HINTS for changing your rooms with imagination on a tight budget are available from interiors experts in Chingford this weekend.

Babs Hull and her sister Marcia McIntosh are launching their business, Interior Re-Styling, on Saturday.

They aim to take a fresh approach to interior design by offering advice and imaginative ideas that are relatively inexpensive but create good results.

Ms McIntosh, who formerly worked for the Queen's own soft furnishings consultants, Albert E Chapman, also runs a curtain club business which gives customers the chance to pay for their decorations in instalments. The event is being held in Ms Hull's home at 224 Sinclair Road, Chingford, with sessions at 10.30am or 2pm.

Ms Hull said: "The interior design world can be very stuffy but I believe people can make their own exclusive looking spaces on a budget.

"Personally my taste is eclectic. I have used second-hand shops and car boot sales to find items that can be recycled and refreshed to look great." She added: "I hope that I will be able to help people to find their own style and then help them to get a look that they're happy with." Tickets for the sessions cost £5 and are available by calling Ms Hull on 8524 0671.
