DELICIOUS food was sampled at a fun day to raise money for a lift at St Mary's Church.
Thai food, Hungarian meat balls, roast pork baps, jacket potatoes and hotdogs were just some of the many scrumptious dishes on the menu, donated by church committee members.
There were also lots of activities for children, such as fun on the bouncy castle, a lucky dip and decorating biscuits.
For history lovers, the church tower was open and visitors could enjoy the sound of a half peel being rung on the church bells.
A total of £1,400 was raised towards the £70,000 needed to install a lift at the church to give access to immobile people.
Church treasurer Jane Fone said: "It went very well indeed. Despite the heavy rain, it was a good day.
"It was very much a home-grown effort, with the church committee putting all its effort into it, but we also had a lot of visitors on the day."
