WALTHAM Forest Council will pay a service provider £4.3 million to overhaul its IT systems.

The deal will see 2e2 build and support a new digital infrastructure, which is aimed at improving service delivery by integrating existing systems, according to technology site CRN.

The contract will reportedly run for three years and includes an option to extend it for another two years.

Graham Bell told CRN: “The council has undertaken an ambitious transformation programme.”

“One way we’re going to achieve this is by upgrading and overhauling our current ICT infrastructure.”
