LABOUR's deputy leader Harriet Harman visited Walthamstow today to launch a campaign aimed at women voters.
Ms Harman was joined by female election candidates in London, including London minister Tessa Jowell, as she met about 100 local women at Vestry House Museum.
She was there to launch the Your voice, Your choice campaign, which profiled Labour's female candidates.
Ms Harman said: "We have the best record of any UK political party in terms of women’s representation with three times more women MPs than all the other parties put together.
"At the close of nominations Labour has more women candidates than ever before.
"Increasing the number of Labour women MPs not only changes the face of Parliament, it changes the political agenda."
