CHURCHES have come together to hold two events for residents to meet parliamentary candidates for the Leyton and Wanstead constituency.
The first is on Saturday, May 1, in the Methodist Church Hall in High Road Leytonstone, residents can drop in and speak to candidates between 12noon to 4pm.
The second is on Sunday, May 2, at St John's Church in Church Lane and High Road, Leytonstone, from 8pm to 9.30pm, when candidates will respond to prepared questions.
Questions for the candidates should be sent by Thursday, April 29, to the Reverend Raymond Draper, at 44 Hartley Road, Leytonstone, E11 3BL or by calling 8257 2792.
