ONE of the borough's most historic buildings will hold its annual Spring event next month.
Valentines Mansion, in Emerson Road, Ilford, will host its May Fair on Saturday, May 15, and will feature a packed programme of events and entertainment for all ages.
Live music will be provided by Fairlop Brass, and musicians from Forest School, Ilford County High School and the Redbridge Music School.
There will also be a host of traditional attractions, including maypole dancing, as well as an interactive event in the mansion's kitchen, highlighting the eating habits of the Victorian era.
The fair will run from 10.30am to 4.30pm. Entrance is £2, and free for under-12s.
