THE candidates standing in the election to be MP for Epping Forest on Thursday May 6 have been officially announced today.
With nominations now closed, Epping Forest District Council has formally confirmed the widely predicted line-up.
The candidates are:
Kate Curtis (The Labour Party) of Zelham Drive, Canvey Island.
Ann Haigh (The Liberal Democrats) of Greenhill, Buckhurst Hill.
Eleanor Laing (The Conservative Party) of The Green, Theydon Bois.
Simon Pepper (The Green Party) of Gravel Lane, Chigwell.
Pat Richardson (The British National Party) of Forest Road, Loughton.
Kim Sawyer (English Democrats) address only described as from "Brentwood and Ongar".
Andrew Smith (The UK Independence Party) of Hemnall Street, Epping.
Voting will take place between 7am and 10pm on Thursday May 6, alongside the elections for the district council.
