Rafael van der Vaart admitted he was exhausted by the pace of the Premier League after his debut last weekend.
But the former Real Madrid man insisted he loved the 1-1 draw with West Brom at the Hawthorns.
"I really enjoyed it” he said of his first game for Spurs.
"I was a little tired at the end but I gave everything and overall, I thought it was a good day.
"My first game was never going to be easy, but this is a great team with great players and they are all great guys as well, so I feel at home right away."
The 27-year-old attacking midfielder played the entire game.
"West Brom played a good second half and in the end 1-1 was okay," said van der Vaart.
"We were much the better team in the first half and normally we'd score one or two goals more," he told club sources.
