A CHILDREN'S centre which provides after school care has been praised as outstanding by inspectors.
Chingford Hall Children’s Centre, in Burnside Avenue, Chingford, was described as being "exceptionally well run" in a report published this month by watchdog Ofsted.
Inspectors said the facility, which is linked to Chingford Hall Primary School next door, supported youngsters and their families to a high standard.
They added that the centre could make improvements in engaging with the surrounding area's Afro-Caribbean population, although it generally engages very well with families from a wide variety of backgrounds.
