A PROPOSAL to build a three-bedroom house has been turned down.
The application by Alan Woodard for the property in Ashley Road, Chingford, was refused on the grounds that it would result in an excessive and bulky development.
The council also said the development would be visually dominant in the streetscene and out of scale with adjacent semi-detached of houses.
