AN astronomy group will run an event to help people spot shooting stars next Saturday (October 8).
Loughton Astronomical Society will have a meteor watching evening from 7.30pm to 10.30pm at the scout hut in Loughton Lane, Theydon Bois.
They hope to spot the shower of Draconids meteors falling to earth, but will run an exhibition if the weather is cloudy.
