THE East London Strings group are to perform a free concert in Walthamstow later next month.
The ensemble will perform a selection of classic string orchestral pieces by the likes of Elgar, Grieg, Rutter, Holst and Bruch together with some light vocal numbers.
It takes place at St Mary's Church in Walthamstow Village on Saturday October 15 from 7.30pm.
A collection will also be held at the event for charity Cancer Research UK.
