A CONSULTATION will begin next month on proposals to introduce permit parking to a series of residential streets in Leyton.
The planned Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) will stretch from Adelaide Road to Windsor Road by Leyton Orient’s ground, but could be extended as far as Wilmot Road.
The council consultation will be launched in November and completed in January.
It is designed to combat parking problems caused by commuters who use nearby Leyton Tube station.
