A BOOK sale at a pub raised more than £200 for the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) charity.
The event at Ye Olde Rose and Crown in Hoe Street, Walthamstow, was organised as part of the national 'Read for RNIB Day' on Tuesday October 11.
Organiser Kelly Harrison said: "I decided to hold the book sale because of the amazing work that RNIB does to support blind and partially sighted people across the UK.
"RNIB's library services provide Braille, large print, giant print and Talking Books which allow blind and partially sighted people in the UK to know the joy of reading."
