POLICE are appealing for help in tracking down a convicted thief who has been on the run for three years.
Elena Ilieva, 32, was released from prison on license in October 2008 after serving time for theft, but within weeks broke her curfew conditions.
An order to recall her to prison was issued in December 2008, but Ilieva, of Hoe Street in Walthamstow, has not been seen since.
A Met spokesman said: "Despite extensive enquiries officers have been unable to locate Elena.
"Elena is from Bulgaria and is known to frequent Waltham Forest, Haringey and central London."
Anyone with any information as to the whereabouts of her is urged to contact police constable Gary Powell at the Wanted Offenders Unit on 0208 345 2306.
