A DRIVER who deliberately ran over a cyclist has been jailed for nine and a half years.
Rohan Crooks, of Sturge Avenue, Walthamstow, went on the run for two years after the attack in Oxford in 2008.
The 34-year-old was cleared of attempted murder, but found guilty of wounding with intent.
Mr Justice Nicol said Crooks, who is Jamaican, could face deportation upon completion of his sentence.
The cyclist was mowed down shortly after an argument between the two men.
He suffered multiple injuries and spent several weeks in intensive care.
