A MAN shot in an ice cream shop earlier this month is still in a critical condition.
James Bryant, the 24-year-old co-owner of Cakes and Shakes ice cream parlour in Woodford Green, is still fighting for his life more than two weeks after being shot by a lone gunman.
He was shot twice in the chest with a handgun on November 14 while he swept up broken glass caused by a bullet fired into the shop in High Road a few days before.
His mother was in the shop at the time.
Temidire Owolabi, 21, of Brandon Close, Chafford Hundred in Grays, Essex, has been charged with attempted murder and will appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on January 30.
