Dagenham & Redbridge have informed a total of eight players that their future lies away from Victoria Road following the expiration of their contracts.

Five of the squad members from the Daggers’ 2010 play-off victory will be leaving the club.

Captain Mark Arber, Damien McCrory, Peter Gain, Phil Walsh and Jon Nurse, who scored the winner in the final, will not be retained.

Jonjo Bates, Lee Wootton and former West Ham midfielder Ahmed Abdulla will also be on the search for new clubs.

Defenders Richard Rose and Oluwafemi Ilesanmi have been placed on the transfer list and are now free to leave Dagenham.
