A popular Wanstead pub is up for sale.
The George in Wanstead High Street is leased by JD Wetherspoons.
An online advert detailing the sale suggests there is no buyer currently lined up.
The advert describes the building as an "impressive period building totalling approximately 11,724 sq ft located in a prominent position overlooking George Green".
It also states there is a strong potential to redevelop the upper floors, which are currently used as conference and event rooms.
Anyone wishing to put in a bid for the pub should make sure they have a spare £2,480,000.
A JD Wetherspoons spokesperson said the company will continue leasing the property until 2034.
