A FARM in Hainault was turned into Redbridge’s answer to Glastonbury as more than 8,000 people partied at a day of dance music.

The crowds flocked to the High Definition Festival at Forest Farm on Saturday to see acts like Ms Dynamite, and superstar DJ Fedde Le Grand.

The festival which took place between 11am-11pm was blessed with good weather and the crowds lapped up the sunshine in between watching acts on the two main stages and partying in the dance tents.

And, for ravers wanting to take a break from the party, there was plenty of other entertainment on offer with fairground rides including dodgems and even an anti-gravity simulator on the site.

Ned Boyd, 23, who helped organise the festival, said: “It was a top day.

“For me personally, Ms Dynamite was the highlight. She absolutely killed it.

“She was just so, so good. Apparently she wasn’t feeling very well and had a bit of a chest infection, but you would never have known.

“All of the DJs nailed their sets, too.”

The day also helped raise money for a good cause with all members of the media and those on the guest list asked to make a cash donation to Saint Francis Hospice in Romford.
