A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after he was seen climbing out of a garden in the early hours of this morning.
Police arrested the youth in Barclay Road, Walthamstow, at 4.15am today (Monday July 2).
A Met spokesman said: "On police arrival a window was found wide open.
"The suspect was then seen climbing over the garden gate onto the street where he [was] arrested".
A search of the area using a police dog found a pair of gloves further down the road, believed to belong to an accomplice who escaped.
The man remains in custody.
