CHILDREN have been rehearsing hard for a summer holiday production of The Wizard of Oz.
The youngsters have been taking part in a series of drama workshops run by theatre group ‘Perform’ at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Cambridge Park, Wanstead.
After four days rehearsing, they will perform the play for family and friends on Friday.
Perform principal Lucy Quick said: “The children have had the best time.
“Our energetic young team of actors, musicians and dancers have been with them every step of the way to inspire and encourage.
“Using original live music, funky dance and quick-witted improvisation, they have taken the children on a dazzling trip guaranteed to fire their imaginations.”
