Tips for going abroad

Travelling during the pandemic has added more items to our checklist, so Emma Coulthurst from Travel Supermarket has given her top tips for travelling abroad at the moment.

  1. Booking a package holiday with a flexible booking guarantee will give you the best legal and financial protections.
  2. Make sure you have travel insurance in place at the time you book.
  3. Get to the airport a little bit earlier if you’re checking in a bag.
  4. If you bypass the tests which clearly involve major profiteering, your test doesn’t have to be ridiculously expensive.
  5. Be reassured that resorts are well set up for the pre-departure test before you return home.
