England fans in Qatar are likely to miss the kick-off for the nation's first match at the 2022 World Cup.

It comes after ticket chaos outside the Khalifa International Stadium saw the FIFA app crash.

Many fans have claimed that their tickets have disappeared from their phones altogether.

Supporters that are not currently logged in are unable to gain access and have taken to social media to share their concerns.

One user wrote: "(They) Won't accept email confirmation and no one is willing to help."

The issue seems to be down to the app's My Events page, where the ticket should appear.

But fans have instead seen a concerning message that reads "there is no ticket associated with your email address."

Now with the match set to kick-off in just under an hour at 1pm, it's expected that many fans might not make it to kick-off.

With news according to The Sun sharing the news as queues are "barely moving" seeing fans get "increasingly annoyed."
