International Women's Day was celebrated with a special service at a synagogue.
The service at Woodford Liberal Synagogue in Malborough Road, South Woodford, was held on Saturday.
It was led by Alice Wilcockand included teachings on four Jewish women, including Hannah Senesh who gave her life to save others and died in Aushwitz.
Bob Kamall, Woodford Chairperson said " It was a heartfelt service and so nice to see so many mothers and daughters taking part in the service.
International Women's Day is marked globally and was celebrated this year on Friday.
