A FORMER music tutor will spend Christmas behind bars after being convicted of child abuse offences.
The jury in the case of former Wanstead High School teacher Michael Crombie took about two hours to agree guilty verdicts on the 34 charges.
Crombie, 73, of Monkhams Avenue, Woodford Green, will be sentenced on December 21.
He was found guilty of 26 charges of indecently assaulting nine girls aged under 16, seven charges of making indecent images of a child and one charge of possessing indecent images of a child.
