There was disappointment for Wanstead as they suffered a 32-12 defeat to Sudbury in London Three North East.
Wanstead had taken the lead in the contest through an early penalty try but Sudbury quickly turned the contest around and led 12-3 at the interval.
Wanstead were reduced to 14 men in the second period and that saw Sudbury take full control of the contest and clinch a comfortable win.
