Tottenham Hotspur’s Ben Davies played the full 90 minutes for Wales last night, who drew 1-1 with Serbia as part of their qualifying campaign for the 2018 World Cup.
Aaron Ramsey’s paneka style penalty had put Chris Coleman’s men in front during the first half, but Newcastle’s Aleksandar Mitrovic levelled the scores with seventeen minutes to play, ensuring the points were shared in Serbia.
The result leaves Wales in third place, four points behind Serbia and the Republic of Ireland, who are level on points at the top of group D.
Chris Coleman’s men are yet to taste defeat in their qualifying campaign, but have drawn five of their six games so far.
Tottenham’s Davies lined up at centre-half in a 3-5-2 formation for Wales and made 34 appearances in all competitions for Spurs last season, who secured a second place finish in the Premier League.
