West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho wants to leave the club before the transfer window shuts tonight.
Sakho has found himself down the pecking order with the Hammers and wants to secure regular football elsewhere.
The striker told Sky Sports News: "I have had a frustrating time for the past couple of seasons. I want a fresh start and I want to get back to playing regular football.
"I have got no issues with West Ham or West Ham fans. This is purely a footballing decision. I want to go back to France."
Sakho has reportedly agreed personal terms with Rennes although no fee has been accepted by West Ham.
The striker wants talks with the Hammers today in an effort to push through a move.
