FA CUP winners Portsmouth have reportedly made an approach for Spurs flop Younes Kaboul.
The 22-year-old has failed to settle at White Hart Lane following his £7 million move from Auxerre last summer and the defender further put his Spurs career in doubt after a public outburst against boss Juande Ramos recently.
But Pompey boss Redknapp is keen to take the former France U21 international to Fratton Park and has already made contact with the north Londoners, according to the player's agent.
"Portsmouth have called Tottenham. Now we are waiting for Tottenham to respond," Kaboul's agent Rudy Raba told Setanta Sports.
Kaboul is also believed to be attracting the attention of Italian giants Juventus.
