Leyton Orient have announced a multi-year partnership with global sportswear brand MEYBA, which will commence from July 2026.
The agreement with the Barcelona-founded company will see the O’s become MEYBA’s flagship football club.
MEYBA will produce Leyton Orient’s official kits, training wear and travel wear for the duration of the partnership, starting from the 2026/27 campaign. All outfield kits will be bespoke and completely unique to Leyton Orient.
Mark Underwood, CEO at MEYBA, said: “This is a landmark agreement for us, and one that we are incredibly pleased to announce. Leyton Orient’s ambitions for the future are so exciting and they align perfectly with ours as a brand.
“Since we started our conversations with the club, we have learned so much about its history and impact; the links to the First World War, the FA Cup team of the late 70s, its importance to the local area and so much more.
“Orient will be our flagship football club across the globe – we’re more than happy to put that on record – and everything that we create will be bespoke and created to salute the past but also focus on the future.
“We have had the opportunity to speak to a small group of fans already, whose inputs have been invaluable. We are very much looking forward to working alongside supporters throughout the duration of the partnership.”
MEYBA was founded in Barcelona, Spain, in the 1940s and it was in La Liga and in particular their city of origin where they became most well-known. A decade-long partnership with FC Barcelona, which started in 1982, came during a spell when Barça won La Liga, three Copa del Reys, two Copa de la Ligas, three Supercopa de Españas, the Champions League and the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup.
More recently MEYBA has built a reputation for being more than just a football brand. From collaborating with cutting-edge artists and designers to embedding itself in the heart of music subcultures, MEYBA sits at the intersection of sport, style, and culture.
MEYBA celebrates and embraces creativity, energy, and community in ways that feel real, relevant and unmistakably MEYBA.
As part of the partnership, Leyton Orient will benefit from the MEYBA's global network of retailers, including DICK’S Sporting Goods, the largest sporting goods retailer in the USA, helping to extend the club’s reach both locally and internationally.
Leyton Orient CEO Mark Devlin said: “Identifying a suitable new Technical Kit Partner has been a major project for us – which has been going on for more than a year – and we are extremely confident we have made the correct decision in choosing MEYBA.
“MEYBA have made it clear that we will be their top club worldwide, and that is going to come with so many benefits for us and our supporters, in terms of contact time and creative control. We wanted to be a main player with our new supplier and we will have that with MEYBA.
“All of our outfield kits with MEYBA will be completely unique, and there will be plenty of other bespoke non-kit items available too. We want our kits and non-playing kit clothing to be the envy of all football fans and we believe that MEYBA will do a fantastic job for us.”
