Leyton Orient have announced plans for the formation of a Fan Advisory Board, which will give fans a voice in helping to shape the club’s future and operations.

The Fan Advisory Board will serve as a new formal link between the club and supporters, offering insights from fan perspectives to help shape strategic discussions and long-term planning, and to create stronger connections and collaboration between the club’s leadership and the wider fanbase.

The Fan Advisory Board is in addition to existing arrangements between the club and various supporter groups but will allow a unified platform for fans to pass comments and ideas on to senior club management and the Board of Directors.

The Fan Advisory Board will consist of 12 members, each of which will retire after one year in the role. However, for the initial period, half of the members will serve for two years to allow a steady rotation of members.

There will be two reserved positions, for a current Leyton Orient Supporters Club (LOSC) member and for Leyton Orient Fans Trust (LOFT) member, as nominated by their membership.

The Fan Advisory Board will meet at least four times a year but may meet more often if deemed appropriate.
